Education and Training
Established Since 2007, Disability Classification & Research Centre (DCRC) has been actively working with the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), and other International Federations to developing athletes’ programs, technical expertise and to grow disability sports capabilities in Asia through the undertaking of research in the area of sports and equipment development
DCRC has been supporting the 52 countries in Asia in several areas including:
- Technical development;
- Coach development;
- Classification; and
- Training and development programmes.


Research and Development
As the region's first classification and research centre, DCRC has been actively growing the base of researchers and interest in ability sports in Asia. We have established linkages with universities and research institutions around the world to raise the standard and quality of disability research here in Asia.
Our 3 main pilliars of sports research are: Sports Technology, Sports Training and Sports Medicine.
Our research areas include:
- Innovation and delivery in sports training
- Sports overtraining, trauma, injuries and prevention
- Training monitoring techniques and performance analysis
- Development of activity-specific equipment
- Classification in disability sports
